Volunteers are needed to help take calls through the United Way of South Carolina’s 2-1-1 system, which is coordinating the response to needs following Tropical Storm Irma.
The efforts of the South Carolina Conference’s Disaster Response and Disaster Recovery ministries and other response agencies will be managed through this system to decrease the potential for duplication of efforts.
Volunteers will receive training and work phones between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
