Singer, storyteller, humorist and folk-theologian Ed Kilbourne will be the featured speaker at Vacation Bible School For Grown-Ups 50+ at Grace United Methodist Church in North Augusta.

Kilbourne will lead the adult VBS – “The Gospel According to You” – at the church’s Wesley Center, 639 Georgia Ave., North Augusta, from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 28-30, 2017. Registration fee is $25, with lunch to follow each day.

Kilbourne is known for his collections of moving music, quirky humor and insightful monologues. He combines acoustic guitar and singing with a storytelling style often compared to that of “A Prairie Home Companion” radio humorist Garrison Keillor.

He also will lead worship at Grace UMC on Aug. 27, 2017, and perform his “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” concert at 5 p.m. that evening.
