Lake Junaluska, NC –Lake Junaluska Youth Events is proud to present Ski Lake Junaluska’s New Year’s Celebration, December 30 through January 1. This weekend includes worship on Monday and Tuesday evening followed by a late night pizza party to ring in the New Year, and of course skiing or snowboarding.
This year’s theme is “Do Not Worry.” Youth will focus on the inspiring verse from Matthew 6:34 (The Message) “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”
Duffy Robbins, a leading voice in youth ministry, is our featured speaker for this exciting weekend. Jennifer Martin, Director of Program Ministries explains, “Duffy Robbins has a warm conversational style, coupled with a quick sense of humor; he has a unique ability to make Scripture come alive.” TransMission, a worship ministry of the Salvation Army, will provide a weekend full of engaging and transformative worship.
