South Carolina Ministries With Young People will host the Not My Kingdom Conference on April 14, 2018, at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Lexington.
Not My Kingdom is a one-day training event for youth workers founded on the principle that youth workers are working toward a common goal: to see the Kingdom of Heaven advanced. And if that is the goal, then youth workers must rally and work together to achieve it, instead of focusing on their own, individual kingdoms.
Therefore, it’s “not my kingdom,” but the Father’s.
Andy Blanks, co-founder and publisher at Youth Ministry 360, will be the keynote speaker, teaching about what it means to “Build Disciples.” Blanks will unpack what that means and give share tips on how to make that happen.
Breakout sessions will focus on topics connected to Building Disciples. The schedule promises to offer all youth workers relevant and practical insight into what it means to make young disciples. Registration is now open and is a great value at $25 per person, which includes lunch.
