SC Conference ELCC Grant Opportunity
Now Available
The South Carolina Conference Ethnic Local Church Concerns Committee announces the availability of grants for small congregation ethnic local churches of the South Carolina Annual Conference. The purpose of the grant program is to make funds available to churches from among our ethnic local churches to strengthen congregations and empower people to do God’s work. The focus of the program is on our smaller churches that lack financial resources. It is our hope that seed funds from these grants can be leveraged by connections with other resources, there by equipping people and churches to open channels of God’s grace in places in need of hope.
The maximum amount that can be requested per church is $3,000 and the application deadline is March 31st. The grant application forms are available on the
www.umcsc.org by clicking on the “Resources” tab and then the “Grants” tab. Applications should be submitted to Doris Seals at dseals@umcsc.org (either scanned and e-mailed, faxed, or mailed hard copies) and received prior to the March 31st deadline.
Questions concerning ELCC Grants can be answered by calling Doris Seals at the Conference Offices, 803-786-9486 x317.
