The Bishop’s School of Ministry – scheduled for Sept. 5-7, 2017, in Myrtle Beach – is a continuing education event for all clergy, active and retired.

Dr. Mark Tidsworth, founder of Pinnacle Leadership Associates, will expand on last year’s topic: “Shift: Three Big Moves for the 21st Century Church,” moving us from theory to practice.
His presentation – “Leading Adaptive Change in Congregations” – will give participants practical ways to cultivate congregations that can readily adapt themselves to the community context, resulting in faithful and relevant expressions of God’s Church.
Retired United Methodist Bishop Will Willimon, author of more than 60 books, will be the special guest. He will lead workshops on “Shifts in Preaching,” making preaching relevant for the time and context.
