Salkehatchie Summer Service leaders have scheduled a series of regional gatherings to give campers and camp leaders a chance to get to know others from around the South Carolina Conference.
“The regional gatherings will provide an opportunity, close to home, to fellowship with Salkehatchie friends,” said Ward Smith, chairperson of the Salkehatchie Board of Managers. “Those who attend will meet and learn from folks who participate in other Salkehatchie camps. There will be time to share the Salkehatchie story with other interested youth and adults.”
These regional gatherings are designed to increase interest and excitement as Salkehatchie camps across the state progress toward registration in March 2024.
“Camp leadership teams will be able to incorporate best practices and new possibilities to have an even more beneficial and blessed Salkehatchie camp,” Smith said. “We will be encouraged and inspired by sharing our Salkehatchie stories with each other.”
