AN INVITATION
We are excited to invite you to the 2025 Carolina Black Clergy Leadership Retreat, a sacred time set apart for renewal, relationship-building, and communion with God and God’s people.
This year, we gather under the theme: “Ascension: The Power of the Preached Word” (Acts 1:4-5) to explore the transformative impact of preaching in our ministry contexts.
Held Monday, May 19, through Friday, May 23, at Kingston Plantation in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, this retreat offers a space for rest, reflection, and reconnection with the call God has placed upon our lives.
Because we want this retreat to be accessible and beneficial to all, especially rural Black pastors, the design team has worked diligently to secure additional funding to support this ministry.
We have also invited incredible presenters and subject-matter experts to guide us in deepening our preaching and pastoral practice. For this, we give glory to God!
We encourage you to make plans to join us for five days and four nights of learning, fellowship, and restoration. Registration is now open – don’t miss this opportunity to be refreshed in the Spirit alongside colleagues in ministry!
All are welcome!
Hosted by the South Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church.
In partnership with the North Carolina Conference UMC and the Western North Carolina Conference UMC.
