“Hooked,” the South Carolina YoungER Men’s Ministry event planned for Sept. 29 at Mt. Horeb UMC in Lexington, has been postponed. A new date is TBD.
The South Carolina YoungER Men’s Ministry is planning a one-day fishing-themed event focused specifically on engaging younger men in ministry.
“Hooked” – a conference designed to inspire men to accept the hope of the gospel hook, line, and sinker, and be willing to share it with others – will take place Sept. 29, 2018, at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington.
Fly fisherman and local pastor Matthew Elrod will share God’s plan for the life of every man. Elrod, the lead pastor at Origins Greenville, is an avid outdoorsman and gifted communicator. Mt. Horeb’s Alex Killman will lead worship.
Lunch is included in the $50 registration fee. The conference will start at 9 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. on beautiful Lake Murray.
