Bishop L. Jonathan Holston is leading a Medical Mission Experience to Guatemala in July, and you can join him!
Bishop Holston and his fellow missioners will visit Healing Guatemala, a non-profit organization established by the Rev. Luke Moontaeg Rhyee, a medical doctor and an elder in full connection with the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church.
The team will provide physicals and other basic medical exams and lead activities for local elementary-aged children.
The mission of Healing Guatemala is to provide holistic healing to Guatemalans by providing medical service and food to enhance the healing of bodies, and by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
Bishop Holston’s trip is scheduled for July 20-26, 2019. The $1,400 cost includes round-trip airfare from Columbia, lodging, ground transportation and most meals. Registration deadline is May 24. Space is limited, so register soon!
