Gracious Heavenly Father, come to our aid amid this unprecedented global pandemic, that we may once again experience your healing love. We ask your healing upon those who are sick with the virus. We ask your loving comfort, peace, hope and strength for the families of those who are sick or have passed.
Be with the medical professionals who seek to heal and who put themselves at risk in the process. Give our leaders the foresight to act with charity and true concern for the well-being of the people they serve and the wisdom to invest in long-term solutions.
Heal us from our fear; let us be the connectional church that reaches out to bridge gaps in helping and loving our neighbor as you have asked. Heal us from our pride, which can make us claim invulnerability to a disease that knows no borders. Stay by our side during this time of uncertainty.
