This month, children’s advocates are calling on United Methodists to step up and be a voice for quality education in South Carolina via their legislators.
The S.C. Conference’s Children in Poverty Task Force has released “A Voice for All our Children: How to Advocate for Quality Education,” an eight-page packet that details exactly how to find out who your legislators are, how to contact them, theological perspectives, how to hold a town meeting on the matter, and other resources to equip churches to be a voice.
