Gracious and loving God, we give thanks for all that you have done for us, especially the gift of eternal life through the life, death and resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that you continue to watch over us as we go through these troubled waters.
Lord, I pray that you will grant us the ability to discern the actions which we need to take to not only allow us to be safe, but those around us and in our care. I pray that you will give peace and calm to all who are becoming restless during this time of isolation from one another. Help us all to understand what is best for not only us but for our communities and the world.
Lord, we now pray for those who are ill and for all of the health care workers who are on the front lines. Give them strength and wisdom.
I ask these things in the name of Jesus, The Christ.
